The better the roller the better the results. You want a roller with good nap, that will hold paint and spread it evenly and well. Don’t press on your roller, allow the paint to guide on and keep it ‘wet’.
A decent brush can save you time, money and improve the finished job. Test drive the brush by testing the grip. The shape and weight should feel comfortable in your hand. Bristles should be straight and smooth. Give them a shake, gently tug on the ends. If bristles shake out, or are easily removed, forget it.
With so much easy clean-up latex paint in use, a good brush is a worthwhile investment.
And remember to choose your exterior coating not for looks alone, but to protect your home from the elements. That’s why all of Bermuda Paint products have mildicides necessary in our humid conditions. This is not the case with most US manufactured products. They just don’t need it. All Bermuda Paint is manufactured here, for this environment, tried and tested before being made available for sale.
